These banners and stories were to go with the TV spot that I made for the giffgaff brief from the D&AD New Blood 2020/21 competition. The TV spot can be found in the Animation section of my portfolio. They are about giffgaff's phone recycling service and they are linked to the TV spot by the use of the 'human box' and severed arms.
These are some short looping animations that would be used as Instagram stories to help promote the service. Instagram stories are a good thing to take advantage of because Instagram has a habit of suppressing posts if they don't fit specific requirements. For example, artists have found that their posts don't get seen by a lot of their followers because Instagram favours pictures of people. Stories can be found at the top of your feed, so they are more likely to be seen.
